The Brothers Karamazov & Islamic Spritualism

  The Brothers Karamazov is the last novel penned by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Earlier I was sceptical about reading it as I was under the false impression that it would be a dull and boring novel but once I started, I found it to be very interesting and in line with the islamic teachings. This book coherently uncovers the charade of liberals and free thinkers. The one who think he is free from the dogmas of religion is actually the slave of his desires. One may argue, what's bad in it to follow one's desire? At least he is following his own desires, not anyone else. This argument appears to be cogent and makes sense to many but if you go a little deep you will find, the desire that you have fed has grown wild over the time and it is not in your control but it has enslaved you instead.
